Fees & Insurance

I will discuss fees and payment with you via phone before our initial session. I have a limited number of slots for sliding-scale fee clients, which is a reduced fee offered based on financial need.

Fees are to be paid each session. Most patients pay using cash or check though now that we are working virtually I accept Zelle and Venmo.

I am considered an out-of-network provider with all insurance companies. Services are provided on a fee-for-service basis and are charged directly to you, the client. I will provide a monthly statement that has all the necessary information for you to bill your insurance company directly.

Prior to your first session, I hope you will call your insurance company and ask the following questions:

  • Do I have mental health benefits?
  • What mental health services (intake, therapy, psychological testing, etc.) are covered by my insurance plan?
  • Do I have a deductible? If so, how much of my deductible has been met?
  • How many therapy sessions are covered by my insurance plan each calendar year?
  • What percentage of my bill will be covered for services provided by an out of-network provider?
